Spotted elsewhere, but Stevecla is where I first saw this great demonstration of a game running across a Win7 PC, A Windows Phone 7 Series device and an XBox. It’ll never catch on :)
Talking of phones (which we sort of were), worth a look at Charlie’s post on the Windows Phone Developer Blog, and his list of those contributing which bits. The full session list for Windows Phone development at MIX has now been published too. Yum yum.

Give a techy a new device – like James’ new mobile – and they’ll quickly find interesting things to do with it. I actually think he’s enjoying his new phone with a bunch of thoughts, some stuff on video, trying to find a Twitter client, and moaning about Opera.
But my favourite is this video of James using his phone to install Windows 7. Hurrah!
Worth knowing that you can follow WindowsPhone on Twitter. Could be important.

In the latest - and hopefully final - part of the Media Center saga, I've also pushed a second
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR4000 card into the machine so I get the multi-channel recording from the satellite channels I can receive (a la Sky+).

I was trying to connect my aging EOS 350D to my laptop last night and found that there are no Win7 x64 drivers. D'Oh.

The talented combo of
DeepFat and
JamesOne have been exploring the features of Win7 and WS2008 via the medium of art, some YouTube annotations and then some slightly random videos. You can start here and then click through to the stuff you're interested in.
The music is by SongSmith, which is a shame as I'd envisaged some kind of lounge-suited DeepFat/JamesOne combo jamming away into the early hours.

Today is the day that you get your hands on the goodies as Windows 7 should be available across
MSDN and
TechNet.
I'm doing my bit as I've waited until today to begin my own upgrades - Netbook is done, and just the 2 PCs at home to sort out (especially excited about the Media Center as I'm installing a
Hauppauge HVR4000 at the same time...)
Get ready, get set...
